网络孔子学院有个在线学习网《学汉语 — 少儿版》(http://kid.chinese.cn/)。《学汉语 —— 少儿版》是汉语启蒙的梦幻岛，内容设计激发兴趣，轻松易学。这个网页设有次级、中级和高级的学习水平。父母可以依照孩子的程度来选择适合的学习资料。孩子可以通过听、读、写和看来学汉语。

According to the latest news from The Star, sports activities will be made compulsory in 10,000 schools nationwide starting next year and each student will be required to select a game of his or her choice.

Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said this meant that sports would have a separate syllabus and would no longer be part of the co-curriculum activity as is the current practice.

为了確保学生在3年的小学教育掌握基本的读写算技能，全国华小將在今年推行识字与精算计划（LINUS），而所有一年级学生必须在3月参加国语水平测试。

据《星洲日报》探悉，各州教育局已分发国文水平测试的试卷给学校。而看过试卷考题的校长和老师都觉得这张试卷有一定的难度，並非一般学生都能通过。

这张试卷的总分是12分，考获9分或以上的学生可以如常上课，3至8分的学生须参与LINUS，1至2分则须加入LINUS特別辅导。

MathMagic, the first made-in-Malaysia board game has a large following in Europe, the USA, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand and is now available in 9 European languages other than Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin.

MathMagic can describe as a Color Dominoes and Math Chess, MathMagic can best be described as a mathematical version of Scrabble.

MathMagic was conceptualized when the creator of the Game, Jimmy Yeoh, was playing with alphabet building blocks with his daughter, then 4 years old. From a game of adding and subtracting of blocks from pieces in play, the idea of using colors and then numbers was developed and soon became the basis of a new game - then unnamed. After some time, rules were added to the game ( mostly adapted from Scrabble) and the game concept and rules were finalized.

教育部副部长拿督魏家祥说，在2011年教改中，小学六年级评估考试的科目將保持不变，而新科目《马来西亚，我的国家》不会被列为考试科。

他也说，新课程纲要强调学生必须在小学第一阶段（一至三年级）掌握读写算（3M）能力，教育部还在斟酌是否要让无法掌握基本技能的学生留级。

“明年最大的教改是学生在三年级时必须掌握基本的读写算技巧，而且会有个制度一直在评估学生是否能掌握3M，过关了才上更高年级。”

虽然这个看似跟小学没什么关系的新闻，但我相信很多父母都会关注它，特别是家里有孩子刚考完 UPSR 的父母。我国独中新生人数屡创新高，唯独槟城独中新生人数减少。新闻报导如下：-

华文独中新生人数屡创新高，全马独中新生较去年增加1077人，而另有2635人因为校舍空间及硬体设备的局限，被拒於独中门外。

雪隆一些独中更出现只收最好学生的现象，因为学额真的很不够。

为了不令家长失望，柔佛州部份独中更是义无反顾的超收学生，这些独中包括新山宽柔中学、宽柔中学古来分校、笨珍培群中学。

今年共有1万3590名莘莘学子进入61独中求学，包括1所分校。

The Education Ministry today announced Sept 21 to 23 next year as the dates for Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) examination, while Oct 5, 6, 7, 11 and 12 were fixed for the Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) examination.

Director-General of Education Tan Sri Alimuddin Mohd Dom, in a statement here today, said the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination would be held from Nov 22 to Dec 16 next year, while the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Ulangan (SPMU) examination was scheduled for June 22 and 23.

我们常听说七手八腳、七嘴八舌、七拼八湊、七顛八倒、七零八落、七上八下、七扭八歪、七折八扣、七零八碎、七老八十。这些有七有八，嵌用的名词或动词表是多或多而扎乱。

原来爸爸的目的是希望买些有益的影片让孩子观看。以影片代替电脑游戏，让孩子暂时离开电脑游戏。他说，现在的孩子都不爱看书，喜欢“快” 的，影片等。一播放就可以看了，不需要慢慢地读，又快又方便。

想想，说得也有理。

现在的时代，人类的脚步越来越快。飞机、子弹列车、火箭等交通工具已经逐渐地把人与人的距离拉近。电脑、网路、无线电话，也成了新新人类的新宠。科技拉近人、事、物的距离。如今，样样事情都讲究快，连读书都要快。
