    林老师是精英班的级任老师,也是这次演讲比赛的策划负责人。林老师走了过来对黄老师说:“黄老师,你是否要重新考虑你今天早上交上来的名单?你真的要为你那三位学生参加演讲比赛吗?”

     黄老师很铁定地说:“没错,就是他们三位。”

     林老师皱了眉头说道:“你是不是在开玩笑吧?他们三个根本就不行。他们的华语还是不及格的哦!”

    黄老师淡然的回答:“学校又没有规定参赛者的华语一定要及格才能参加演讲比赛。”

单元二 噩梦缠身

 

    回到班上,大家都没做声,沉默了一会儿。不一会儿,大家又再叽叽喳喳起来。这群孩子,没有一刻可以静下来。

     这时,黄老师打破沉默说:“同学们,你们知道为什么我要你们参加演讲比赛吗?”

     黄老师一开口说话,大家都静了下来。

    黄老师继续说:“最主要的原因是,我想让你们知道舞台并非优秀生的专利。你们也可以拥有自己的舞台。演讲比赛没有规定一定要成绩优秀的学生才可以参加。任何人都可以参加。你们应该去争取自己的舞台。尝试站在上面,感受站在上面的滋味。不要考虑是否可以拿冠军,只要尽自己的力量就好。如果你们还有谁要参加,我都愿意帮你们。如果你们不愿意上台,我也不会强求。自己决定吧!”

食物四:燕麦 Oats
燕麦被称爲大脑的粮食,它的营养成份高含人体所需的叁大营养素,维他命B群、C、E、叶酸及矿物质,亦含有丰富的水溶性纤维。而许多研究證实燕麦可降低胆固醇、强化心脏、控制体重、低血糖及心脏病变。燕麦的含脂量低,可让卡路里更有效的燃烧,常被运动员选做主食。此外,燕麦及大麦对於提高孩童的精力、注意力均有很大的帮助,可以在学校或工作中拥有更好的专注力及表现。另外,它还有助於您的空间记忆及提高认知能力。


   选择燕麦之 tips
   1.尽量不要选择甜味很浓的产品,这意味著其中50%以上是糖粉。
   2.尽量不要选择口感细腻黏度不足的产品,这说明其中燕麦片含量不高,糊精之类成分含量高。
   3.香气通常是香精所致,而非纯燕麦片的原味,因此香浓的产品未必品质好。
   4.尽量选择能看得见燕麦片特有形状的产品,即便是速食产品,也应当看到已经散碎的燕麦片。

单元一 演讲比赛

 

    就这样,演讲比赛的事就告一段落了。黄老师开始上课了。黄老师一面讲课,一面在黑板上写字。同学们听了一会儿就开始作怪了,有的偷看漫画、有的偷画画、有的则在说悄悄话,一连串的小动作层出不穷。这一班,简直是“猴子班”。同学们没有一刻是静下来上课。

     “怎么不一会儿就变成巴刹啦!请安静!”黄老师没有回头,依然的在黑板上抄写。黄老师这么一说,同学们静了下来。但,这只是片刻而已,班上又再吵闹起来了。

     “同学们,请安静。”黄老师又说了一次。可是,同学们根本没把黄老师的话听进耳朵里。大家又吵了。

    黄老师一心想要给学生们下马威,所以板着脸,严肃地说道:“我们的下半节有个作文小考。成绩最差的四位同学将代表我们班参加演讲比赛。” 黄老师的这个决定真叫同学们目瞪口呆。大家万万想不到黄老师会进行临时测验,更无法相信的是黄老师要成绩最差的同学参与演讲比赛。作文小考这一招还蛮管用,一句话,不需要喊,不需要骂,学生们自动的静了下来。

食物二:鸡蛋 Egg

你爱吃鸡蛋吗?鸡蛋含有非常丰富的维生素A、E、B6、B12、叶酸和锌等,这些都是活化脑力的主要元素。长期缺乏维生素B12和叶酸者会使记忆力减退,甚至还可能提高罹患失智症的风险。营养师建议,为了避免过高的胆固醇,鸡蛋的蛋黄应该适量地吃。在其他的食物如:豆腐、黄豆也都富含卵磷脂,它们也可作为健脑食物。

<鸡蛋要生吃才有营养?可是这样安全吗?>

相信很多人对这个问题感到疑惑。其实鸡蛋是不建议生吃的。这是因爲生吃容易被沙门氏菌污染,同时蛋白质也不宜被人体吸收。然而,蛋黄的营养长时间的高温下烹煮会被氧化,所以我们吃鸡蛋最营养就是在蛋白已经凝固,而蛋黄处于半凝固或流动的状态。这样既可以保证消化吸收率,又可以避免营养素损失。煮鸡蛋或煎鸡蛋的时候用点小小的技巧,就可以吃到蛋白嫩嫩凝固而蛋黄半流动状态的鸡蛋。我们俗称它为"telur mata kerbau"。想煮出蛋黄半凝固的状态其实一点也不难,將鸡蛋放入温水,水煮沸騰后调制小火,大約5分钟就可以关火。此时的鸡蛋就是最佳的状态了。

It's function is to aid in concentration and the supports the neurons in the brain.

Nutritionist recommendation: 4 whole eggs per week.

食物二:全谷类 Whole Grains

 全谷类内含丰富的维生素B群,共有八种不同的种类分别负责制造体内所需的能量,也是让神经细胞和神经传导物质生成不可或缺的。它们还能协助降低体内血糖及胆固醇。如果身体内同时缺少维生素B1、B6时,大脑运作便会迟钝、心情也会低落。由於B群维生素是协助热量和蛋白质顺利新陈代谢的重要因子,也是维持细胞正常功能的必要营养素;若摄取不足,体内的能量系统将无法供应足够的能源,大脑功能就因此而受到影响。富含B群的食物也包括:酵母、小麦胚芽、豆类、肉类、肝脏等。肉类或肝脏和洋葱、大蒜、韭菜烹调,对身体吸收B群更有帮助。

除此之外,全穀类也拥有丰富的维生素E及维生素B群、叶酸、眼尖酸等。叶酸则与神经发展、记忆力有关。叶酸不足则会贫血、生长迟缓,孕妇多补充叶酸,有助降低胎儿神经缺损的风险,菠菜、花椰菜等绿色蔬菜是叶酸的良好来源。

As the saying goes, "You are what you eat", which definitely applies to our mental functions abilities. To maintain a continued brain strength, we'll need a nutrient-rich diet which will keep our body and brain always function at its optimum level. Oatmeal, brown rice, whole-grain breads, popcorn and barley are food can help us promote healthy cardiovascular system and good blood flow throughout the organ system, which includes the brain. Oatmeal eaters will not experience a steep drop in blood-sugar levels, and that's a good thing. A dip in blood sugar can bring with it a release of hormones that affect mood. In some children, the hormones seem to affect concentration and memory.

Eating a diet with whole grains especially for breakfast is one of the key to a healthy brain.

单元一 演讲比赛

 

alt    今天天气特别晴朗。同学们都集合在那绿幽幽的草地上,看着在杆子上飘扬的国旗,同学们如常唱起了国歌。

     星期一,一个懒洋洋的日子,同学们犹如还怀念着星期日的电视节目和冰淇淋。偏偏每一个星期一都是周会日,校长总是喜欢在这一天给学生叮咛。然而,这些苦口婆心的叮咛对同学们来说却是“训话”,似乎无来由地被校长训了一顿。

     站在那炎热的太阳底下的成成不耐烦地想着:“又来了。校长又在开始碎碎念。热死啦!还不快点。”

     当然,除了叮咛,校长也宣布了即将在六月中举行一场一年一度的全校演讲比赛。同学们开始交头接耳的谈论起来。演讲比赛顿时成了同学们闲聊的课题。

     成成心想:“好无聊哦!怎么还要上台说话!又没有我的份儿。”

食物 一 :香蕉 Banana

对大脑生长发育有重要作用的物质主要有以下8种:脂肪Fats、钙Calcium、维生素C Vitamin C、糖 Glucose、蛋白质Protein、B族维生素 Vitamin B、维生素A Vitamin A、维生素E Vitamin E。许多富含这8种物质的食物都可算作是健脑食物.而身体需要能量来维持运作,而大脑的能量来源是葡萄糖Glucose。选择香蕉补充碳水化合物 Carbohydrate,可以让血糖不容易高低起伏很大。这个是因为香蕉内含有果胶,能释放葡萄糖的速度比较慢。想让大脑处于巅峰状态,就必须适时补充大脑的重要能量来源。此外,香蕉也含有丰富的矿物质,特别是钾离子的含量较高,另外香蕉中还含有一种能够帮助人体制造“开心激素”的氨基酸,可减轻心理压力,常吃香蕉补脑很有帮助。

Thus, there's studies conclude that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert. Potassium which is highly found in bananas, is a vital mineral. It helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. During the preparation for the examination, often we are stressed out, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.

How often does your child go to toilet ? What happened if he doesn't have stools the whole day, or even the whole week? Constipation is defined as infrequent or unusually hard bowel movements or difficulty passing them. It affects all children at one time or another. The frequency and consistency of stools vary by age and from child to child. So you just want to watch for signs of strain or deviation from your child’s normal pattern.

Common factors that cause constipation include changes in diet, changes in routine or stressful events, or a reaction to potty training. In most cases the children the constipation is temporary and the children will pass the stools on their own. This is actually quite common in children and most usually caused by not drinking enough fluids, not eating enough fiber, or having a diet high in constipating foods like milk, cheese, and bananas.

Constipation generally occurs when the colon absorbs too much water from waste, or the muscles are not able to contract effectively. In addition to having pain during bowel movement, children with constipation might experience cramping abdominal pain. These are all the signs and symptoms might have when constipation occurs.

What we could do to prevent it ? Let's take note on the key recommendation from the Ministry of Health of Malaysia. Firstly, good choices of fluids include apple and prune juice or help yourself to find high fiber foods.

昨天听到一则新闻“教育部考虑废除小六评估考试(UPSR)及初中评估考试(PMR),仅保留大马教育文凭考试(SPM)。”

我等了很久,终于等到了这则新闻。

今早,在上班的路上收听“爱FM”广播,大家有在讨论这个话题。听众的反应让我感到有点儿意外。大部分的听众都只赞同取消PMR考试却不认同UPSR被取消。

然而,我却希望UPSR和PMR都取消。

为什么呢?

(吉隆坡)首相夫人拿汀斯里罗斯玛表示,她有意在高风险区设立一个低收入家庭孩童及青少年艺术教育中心,以营造一个孩子放学後活动的安全环境。

她说,她需要与政府及相关单位讨论落实有关艺术教育中心的方法。

罗斯玛也是国家学前教育政策委员会(PERMATA)主席,她周二(6月1日)在私邸召开新闻发布会时表示,这样的艺术教育中心有助於减少儿童及青少年的社会问题。

 她说,艺术教育中心能提供各种艺术课程,如音乐、绘画及舞蹈,可让儿童及青少年善用放学後的空余时间。

她表示,这也能避免儿童及青少年到不良地方游荡,进行不良活动。 “如果有个地方让他们做喜欢及有兴趣的事,如唱歌、玩音乐等,他们就会喜欢待在那个地方,这是好事。”

5月20日,520谐音为‘我爱你’,不好意思在暗恋对象面前示爱,也会用数字代号5201314代表‘我爱你一生一世’。因为我在这天也收到亲人朋友所发的简讯,才知道原来每年有这么特殊,诞生原因我猜想是为了提醒大家要勇敢的把爱说出口。

相同在的这天,也是中国学生的营养日。而在今年5月20日中国新闻中心报导一些学校学生的饮食习惯发现不合理,进而迈入营养健康的误区。饮食的习惯包括:进食的时间、分量、营养的摄取、食物单一化等等。严重的问题在于一些传统观念如:能吃就是福,仍深根在小朋友的行为当中。此外,每日每餐的食量因为贫富的距离而有非常大的落差。所以在中国,无论是营养过剩或者营养不良导致瘦骨嶙峋的儿童都是多如牛毛,到处可见。这一群国家未来的栋梁,无法拥有健康强壮的体格,将来的社会的发展怎能抱有希望呢?

一天三餐的食量分配:早餐要吃的跟国王一样丰盛、午餐象王子、晚餐象平民而夜宵则学乞丐就是少吃或不吃会更好。每一餐也应用心安排摄取足够的营养种类及食物的颜色也该多元化,适合的分量和定时的进食时间也是非常重要的。
